Terms & Conditions
- Payments will be returned if a class has to be cancelled due to minimum numbers not being achieved.
- Blackwood Music Academy or any of their staff are not responsible for any loss or injury during the class, on entry or leaving.
- Blackwood Music Academy reserve the right to remove from our programme, without refund, anyone who is found to be bullying, misbehaving or displaying disruptive behaviour.
- You must declare all medical conditions during registration and keep us up-to-date should this change by emailing/calling us at k-blackwood@sky.com/07539 104230.
- You must declare if you do not want your child or yourself to be photographed for marketing use, and keep us up-to-date should this change using the given email address or phone number.
- Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received. Paid for spaces will be given priority.
- You must refrain from bringing your child to class if they have had any form of illness within 48 hours of the class. If you are suffering from a cough or cold please wear a mask where possible. Individual lessons can be conducted over zoom, FaceTime or WhatsApp.
- We don't issue refunds for missed sessions due to your own circumstances.
- Any missed lessons can potentially be rescheduled within 7 days of the missed lessons if another slot becomes available and at least 24 hours notice has been given of the cancellation.
- Payments during school holidays are due as normal and any missed individual lessons can potentially be rescheduled within 7 days if there is an open space available. No guarantees will be made. There will be no refunds for group or individual lessons. Some teachers will take holidays during school holidays but we can’t guarantee this.
- If there are any sessions missed due to typical bad weather, Blackwood Music Academy will offer a make-up session or take it over WhatsApp, Zoom or FaceTime.
-4 weeks notice is due on any termination of lessons. Notice should be given by email at k-blackwood@sky.com
-Any lessons with Karen Blackwood are charged at 4 weeks per month with 8 weeks holidays built in per year. This will mean you may have 5 lessons within a 4 week month but will only pay for 4 lessons. Fortnightly pupils may have 3 lessons but always pay for 2 per month.
